I recently had a VERY clean VW Tiguan in for a dent repair, the dent was on the door and also over a bodyline which is a very common dent for these VW
Our customer was quite “miffed” because this vehicle was his pride and joy, keeping it super clean all the time and this really put him off Polishing it in his spare time.

The repair took only a few hours to complete, using a few tools to massage this dent out and finishing off with a sharp door tool, totally removing this dent from the door and making my customer very happy again! All this was done completely paint free just using the Paintless Dent Removal process

🇮🇹 What An Amazing Dent Show! ⭐️

Last week we visited Italy for the 2024 DB Expo
This is the second year the show has run and it was amazing! I was kindly invited to give a presentation on Reflection sources within PDR for techs who don’t use lines, and for total beginners and people wanting to learn PDR techniques
I gave a presentation on both days and it was very interesting to try something new! Speaking to an audience! I was helped along by a translator who did such a great job of firstly listening to a seminar about lines, and secondly understanding my “Hull” Accent

I also entered the dent competition and those dents were deep! The Fiat panel was quite flimsy too but I went at it and I did a fantastic repair, just ever so slightly stretched in the centre but I’d say I was in the middle of the competitors!

Meeting old, new friends, My Wife and I had a super weekend!!

Hi, my name is Mark Aslin and I run a dent company in Surrey with my brother. We’re using MTRX for our company but we’re unsure on quite a few things in relation matrix’s, customizing, vin scanning and the general start to finish process. Italy’s PDR, bodyshop and painter expo is happening this week il be attending the show at Roggia Moschetta – Treviglio 🇮🇹
I’m honoured to be asked to host a presentation within the training village with other Amazing Technicians in our industry and the bodyshop world
I will be talking about Lined Reflection and how to read the lines
I will also be entering the Dent Competition so hopefully my students can scrutinise my work with the lines they just learnt!!

😫 Small Dents Can Be Tough! 🤢
At a first glance this small dent on an Audi A1 door didn’t look much, agreed it shouldn’t be on the door of the car in the first place so it had to be fixed
Our customer was travelling from out of the area, so I had to be sure that this dent would be fixable…
After inspecting the damage it was classed as candidate for PDR and it was a deep dent, because it was deep for its 45mm size!
To make things a bit tricky, there was an inner brace running diagonally and through the damage.
The repair was successfully carried out using a few thin sharp bars to push and shrink the damage at the same time, and our customer was delighted with the results
